Crosswalk Preschool
This past month has been an exciting one for our preschool! Since last month, enrollment has grown from 7 students to 10.
Hennaa Usha has joined the four-year-olds on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and Cindle Winspear and Jitu Duga have been added to the Tuesday/Thursday class for three-year-olds. We are very excited to have these new students in our midst!
In our Bible lessons we studied Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and have now moved on to Moses. We are seeing how God protected him as a baby and chose him to be a helper for the Israelites. We are enjoying singing songs like Praise Him, Praise Him, All You Little Children, and Fire, Fire, Bush on Fire.
The Letter People continue to be a part of each preschool day. We have become familiar with Ms. P, Mr. H, Mr. M, and Ms. A. The themes associated with these Letter People were Our Bodies, Our Health, Our Five Senses, and Our Feelings. Besides reading books and doing theme activities, we have been practicing our counting, sorting, and graphing skills, and are working on recognizing our names as well as the basic colors.
Many thanks to our gracious Lord for his blessings on our preschool, and many thanks to the members and friends of St. John’s for their continued prayers!
