Michael Mulinix

Michael Mulinix has been the minister of music at St. John's 1997.  He was theologically trained at Northwestern College (Watertown, Wisconsin)  and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary (Mequon, Wisconsin).  He has studied keyboard music since the age of 7 and played his first church service on a tracker action pipe organ at the age of 14.  Michael has twenty years of experience as a parish pastor, having served at Brooklyn Lutheran Church in Brooklyn Park.  He also served as the chairman of the Board of West Lutheran High School for three years and was one of it's founding members.  His duties included teaching there part time for 3 years.  These days Michael works at St. John's as organist and choir director part time, and has a full time job as activivities director and Chaplain at Earle Brown Terrace Apartments (a senior community)
