Over the years, many WELS/ELS members have desired to assist our students with families. The establishment of an on-campus food bank provides such an opportunity.

How can you help?

The Food Bank depends on the contributions of our churches, organizations and individuals. We are set up to receive nonperishable food items. monetary gifts are quite useful, giving us the ability to buy basic food supplies, paper products, soap and diapers.

What kind of food do we need?

• Canned fruit and vegetables
• Canned beans and chili
• Canned meats
• Canned and dry packaged soups
• Boxed dinners
• Spaghetti sauce
• Pasta/rice/instant potatoes
• Peanut butter and jelly
• Flour/baking supplies
• Sugar (granulated, powered, and brown)
• Fruit juices
• Cereal
